Wake Up Canada

This entry is part 5 of 7 in the series The Word of The Lord

Change is indeed about to happen. Even in the next few months, you will be saying, “My my. Look at what the Lord is doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.” Be ready, because what is marvelous in your eyes will change how the world works for the generations that follow you. Be ready because churches will begin to fill up in these last days. It will not take long. The Holy Spirit does not have a hearing problem. Listen to Him. He will guide you into all truth and show you what you need to do to successfully move through the change. Your prayer and praise life is paramount in these times, but must be more so now. The more you look through the Spirit of Wisdom and do what needs to be done, the easier it will be for Me to move on your behalf. Cast your cares on Me and let Me help you. Do not bind Me. Trust in Me. I am the answer to all things. Creation is far more complex and vast than what you face, yet it it there, because of My Word. You have My Word, use it to cut through the waste and prepare. Get ready because Canada’s time has come. This is the hour that I have called Canada for and because you are here, this is your hour. Due season is here!

Advance

This entry is part 5 of 7 in the series The Word of The Lord

The Word of the Lord came to me at Church this past Sunday.

“Arrogance is humility corrupted.  Think not of yourself as better though you are better off with me.  You are My child.  I love you!  Love Me.  Listen to Me.  I will help you and I will guide you.  Submission is not you being a robot with no will.  It is that you allow Me to to protect you and bless you so that you can rise above; far above to the place where eagles fly, riding the currents instead of the currents riding you.  Oh that you would listen.  Let Me into your life and do the Devil like you have done Me – give him no place.  Attack his works with the same weapons that your forefathers and foremothers were given.  Advance! Take the land and as you do I will bless you according to My Word.”

G.R.A.P.E.s – Winning

This entry is part 5 of 7 in the series The Word of The Lord

With the 2010 Olympic Winter Games over, there is an important lesson that we can learn from Team Canada’s overtime win.  First, they opted to become defensive-minded instead of remaining on the offensive.  While good defence is important, it will ultimately be the offence that wins the game.  You must score one more goal than your opponent.  As a Christian, it is a reminder not to become so defensive in the world that we forget that our job is to outscore our opponent.  Oddly enough, there is no overtime in the game of life.  Remember, Jesus’ last command before He left earth was not just to win souls, but to disciple them in His ways.

G.R.A.P.E.s – Boldness

This entry is part 5 of 7 in the series The Word of The Lord

Star Trek used the phrase, “to boldly go….” God has given us boldness to help us overcome the challenges in our lives. That said many Christians never go into God’s throne room as the Children of God that we are.

G.R.A.P.E.s – Winning

This entry is part 5 of 7 in the series The Word of The Lord

Society wants everybody to have an opportunity to win. Real life, however, does not allow people that luxury. There are winners and there are losers. The difference is that winners win because they commit to winning and act accordingly.

Winning is Action

This entry is part 5 of 7 in the series The Word of The Lord

Kent Austin, coached the Saskatchewan Roughriders for one season. Prior to his departure, he said something to the press about why his players were rising to the challenges of contending for a Grey Cup. Coach Austin stated:

“What’s the point of playing if you don’t believe? There’s a difference in faith and belief. Belief requires action. And if you’re gonna play to win, you need to talk differently, walk differently, act differently, practice differently, prepare differently. And you gotta back it up with your actions . ”

Action is often the missing ingredient in success because people expect that God will do everything for them. In fact, God is waiting for them to act in and on their faith so that the purposeful action they take can yield results. Remeber, James said:

James 1:22-25 NLT
(22) But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
(23) For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror.
(24) You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.
(25) But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
